Talia has been teaching pilates and fitness classes for 5 years. She focuses on alignment, developing good posture and strengthening your core.
Her classes are multilevel, uplifting and a great workout.
She uses isometric holds to build strength in your core muscles for better posture, balance and flexibility. In her classes expect to be grounded, centered, challenged, and reinvigorated – all delivered with a douse of fun and humour!
Talia is a firm believer that we must first take care of ourselves in order to care for anyone else in our lives. When we allow ourselves to find what makes us feel strong and empowered, what lights our soul on fire, we are able to carry that out into the world and help support those around us.
In Talia’s class you can expect an uplifting, reinvigorating, challenging, creative and safe workout. Talia emphasizes listening to your body by finding your limits and pushing them in a safe manner with a focus on form.

Carolyn has been working full time as a yoga teacher since 2014, when she went to India to complete her Yoga Teacher Training course.
Aside from teaching many different styles of yoga, she is also a certified Barre and Spin instructor.
Growing up, she was a competitive Highland dancer, and currently is a passionate salsa and kizomba dancer.
Her yoga and dancing have taken her all around the world (50 countries so far!), but she is now excited to have settled in Nanaimo, and is looking forward to sharing her diverse experience with the community here, at UKmovez..

Tiffany is known for her authentic, non-judgmental teaching style and compassion-centered philosophy.

Zumba, Zumba KIDZ Jr..
Rie moved from Japan to Canada by herself in 2008.
In Canada, she encountered Zumba and was delighted to be able to enjoy it with people even though the language and culture were different.
As she grew to love Zumba, she wanted to move from being a participant to becoming an instructor.
In 2012, she became certified as a Zumba instructor.
After giving birth and raising her child, she started working as a Zumba instructor in Nanaimo in 2018.
Even in under the pandemic, Rie has continued to give energy and courage to many people by holding Zumba classes online.
Now it's time to do Zumba at UKmovez!
Her energy is sure to have a positive impact on everyone.
